Working on Wellness Environments (WOW-E) is a interdisciplinary approach to locally driven transformative changes improving the health of the community. Texas A&M AgriLife Extension currently receives funding from the CDC High Obesity Program. The WOW-E team is composed of subject matter experts in the areas of nutrition, physical activity, food systems, early childcare education, technical assistance providers and educators, and local county agents from Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service and Prairie View A&M Extension, in addition to other state agencies.
